Prize for German Russian university cooperation for Travelling Seminar

The aim of the German-Russian theme year organized by the DAAD was to present to a broader public the long-standing relations that link universities, research institutions, and educational establishments in the Federal Republic of Germany with those of the Russian Federation. As part of this initiative, the "Bridges for German-Russian University and Scientific Cooperation" prize was announced, for which a total of 124 applications were submitted from both the German and Russian sides. In all, 25 German-Russian science projects were recognized with prizes. In the category "Promotion of young researchers" the summer school series "Travelling Seminar" was honoured, which is organized by Jun.-Prof. Dr. Mirijam Zobel together with Assistant Prof. Dr. Maxim Vlasov, Ural Federal University in Jekaterinburg, Russia.
